03 - Ghosts

Over the last two years, we have been constantly exploring and refining our craft to be able to realise this collection to its full capacity. The title Ghosts [鬼 ] can be interpreted in a multitude of ways, as we open the story up to the viewer to interpret it however they like.

The collection draws inspiration from classic Western stories, incorporated with cultural references to Chinese folklore and mythology along with a more abstract approach to the definition of “ghosts”; the previous, the unknown, the lingering.

Many looks integrated upcycled elements which references our interest in sustainability along with a handful of carefully selected deadstock fabrics which were specifically chosen to support the storytelling aspect of the collection.

The final visuals produced would not have been possible without the support from our fabric vendors Beglarian Fabrics, Wall Fabrics and Circular Sourcing, along with collaborative efforts from likeminded creators; Ana, Harvy, Jacob, Kendall, and jewellery designers; Ally, Ari, Edwin, Jan & Jonas, Nadia, Rong.
