SAMPLE LOANS INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in borrowing garments from Yang Yu Hong.

As we are a made to order brand, we do not hold seasonal inventory or multiple sample sizes. The garments available for loan are usually original prototypes, archive pieces or one-off samples that have been used throughout the design and development process. Please refer to each product for specific details and measurements.

Because of this, all approved loans are handled with care and require a Garment Loan Agreement before anything is shipped.

LOAN PROCESS

Once a loan request has been approved, we will confirm the available garments, loan period, garment value, sample loan fee and return details.

A sample loan fee of 20% of the total garment value applies to all approved loans. This fee is non-refundable and covers the preparation, administration and ongoing maintenance of the garments.

The remaining balance is held as a refundable security deposit. This will be returned once all garments have been received back, inspected and confirmed to be in the same condition as they were sent.

GARMENT USE

Garments are loaned strictly for the approved project only.

This may include editorials, press shoots, celebrity styling, campaigns, music videos or other approved creative projects.

Any additional use must be discussed and approved in writing before the garments are worn or photographed.

Garments are not to be used for personal wear, private events or any project outside of the approved loan unless previous discussed and agreed upon.

GARMENT CARE

All garments remain the property of Yang Yu Hong at all times.

No permanent alterations are permitted. This includes cutting, tailoring, dyeing, sewing, distressing or modifying the garments in any way.

Temporary styling adjustments such as pins and clips are acceptable as long as they do not damage the garment.

Garments must be returned within the agreed loan period and in the same condition as received. Any damage, loss or repair costs may be deducted from the refundable security deposit. If a garment is lost or damaged beyond reasonable repair, the full value of that garment may be retained.

Late returns may also incur additional fees as outlined in the Garment Loan Agreement.

SHIPPING

Yang Yu Hong will cover outbound shipping unless otherwise agreed.

The recipient is responsible for return shipping, including full tracking and insurance for the declared garment value.

For international loans, return shipments should be clearly marked as:

“Return of Sample Garments – Temporary Loan – No Sale”

This helps clarify that the garments are being returned after a temporary loan and that no sale or transfer of ownership has occurred.

Any customs charges, duties, brokerage fees or import-related costs caused by incorrect return declarations may be deducted from the refundable security deposit.

Photographers and creative teams retain copyright of their own imagery. Where approved or made publicly available, Yang Yu Hong may repost or display imagery featuring the loaned garments on our website and social media channels with appropriate credit.
